Distressed Cowhide That Already Looks Worn In

The hide is finished in a deep antique brown and then hand-rubbed at the seams, collar edge, cuffs and hem so the lighter tan base shows through — the look a plain brown jacket takes five years to earn. Because the distressing is done on the surface of real cowhide rather than printed, it keeps developing with wear: the elbows and pocket edges lighten first, and the back panel stays dark so the artwork holds its contrast.

The Full 48th Anniversary Back Panel

Across the shoulders, "Pelle Pelle" arches in cream block letters set with brass and crystal-style studs. Beneath it, "The Original – The One – The Only" runs in cream script, then the studded "48 Years" shield sits between the "M" and "B" initials with "Limited Edition" on either side. "Anniversary" spans the lower back in cream studded lettering over silver scroll flourishes and an "Established 1978" pennant. The front keeps the story going with a smaller studded "P" shield, 19–78 numerals and anniversary banners on the left chest, and a studded "B" badge with an XLVIII ribbon on the right sleeve. Every stud is set through the hide by hand and backed inside the lining.

The cut is a relaxed varsity bomber — shirt collar, full brass-tone zip, two welt pockets, ribbed dark-brown knit at the collar band, cuffs and hem — with room to zip over a hoodie. Every jacket is made after the order is placed; production normally takes 14–15 working days, then it ships with a tracking number to the USA and worldwide. Standard-size orders can be returned within 15 days of delivery; made-to-measure pieces are exchanged if they arrive damaged or incorrect. Condition the hide twice a year and let the distressing do the rest.
